In MASTERING SAT AND ACT COMMA QUESTIONS, PART 1, I explained how to identify Comma Questions and how to apply the most frequently-tested comma rule on both the SAT and the ACT. (That would be the comma rule for non-essential phrases.) If you haven’t yet read Part 1, do so before continuing.

In this article, I’ll cover the second most frequently-tested rule on both digital SAT ACT English and SAT Reading & Writing.
