Researchers Wagner and Strauss conducted a comprehensive year-long study on effective learning strategies across different educational environments. The study collected data from over 2,500 high school students at various types of schools in the Pacific Northwest. Students reported their study habits, educational backgrounds, and socioeconomic factors, while their academic performance was tracked across multiple subjects throughout the academic year. Based on analysis of test performance data, Wagner and Strauss claim that spacing study sessions evenly throughout the week enhances students' working memory capacity, thereby leading to better test performance compared to students using concentrated study approaches.

Which choice best describes data in the graph that support the researchers’ claim?

A. Across all school types, students who used spaced study methods achieved higher average test scores than students who used concentrated study methods.

B. Only students at public schools who used concentrated study methods scored below 75% on average.

C. Average scores for spaced study were greater at private schools than at either public or charter schools.

D. Students using spaced study methods were more evenly distributed across different school types than students using concentrated study methods.
